About company

Bang & Bonsomer was founded in Finland in 1927 as a supplier of chemicals and chemical raw materials. Today, Bang & Bonsomer’s strategic approach is to offer smart material technologies to our customers. Smart material technologies are a combination of distribution, own products, smart process technology solutions, services, and own application laboratories/technical centres. We are represented in Finland, the Baltic States, Scandinavia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine and, of course, Russia, where we have warehouses and offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov, Ekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk.

Supplying materials for composite products is one of our businesses. We specialise in closed moulding technologies – RTM, infusion, autoclave moulding, and vacuum bag as well as mass production techniques, such as pultrusion, filament winding, SMC/BMC, and casting.

We are ready to recommend materials to your existing or new industry.

For example, we can find a release agent for a porous MDF surface in the master model, select a gelcoat colour based on your metal plate sample, develop RTM tooling drawings, certify a fire-resistant resin according to Russian GOST requirements and recommend epoxy systems to produce large thin carbon fibre parts.

We have made this website simple and easy to explore. It describes basic materials for the composite industry, and if something is lacking, please contact us at composites@bangbonsomer.com
